Birds Of A Feather, Flock Together 2020.
This body of work is part one of my Legacy Series, a project which aims to shed light on incredible individuals who are leaving extraordinary legacies behind them.
Flock Together is a support club and community combatting the underrepresentation of black, brown and people of colour in nature through birdwatching.
Founded by Nadeem Perera and Ollie Olanipekun in 2020, the duo provides a space for healing, support and reclamation of natural spaces during a time where people who belong to these backgrounds so desperately need it, expanding our consciousness around what these individuals are able to engage in, find comfort in and enjoy.
